To Midsummer, Aida, and Giggles

Wow! Three new siblings! Mom told me I would be having some new roommates. I am so excited! It will be good for Mom to have something to take her mind off of her depression due to the sweep of the Braves. New siblings will be just the thing. I asked Mom about "hell", and she said not to worry about it because I would never have a chance to visit there. (Good, because I don't like show. It makes my wings ache!) But, she did say that she is also wondering about the weather conditions down there. (Hmmm... Maybe it is somewhere in Australia?)

Mom says not to worry about starting your trip a little late. I'm just glad you are coming at all. There will be plenty of time to party once you get here. Mom works pretty hard herself to support all of us kids. We have our own four story clear condo from Rubbermaid, to make sure that we aren't accidentally ruined by the playful attack cats. They really enjoy chewing on corners, but Mom doesn't let them anywhere near us. I do hope that Mom can invest in some additional condos sometime soon, though. The ones she has are getting crowded!

Yes, the peacocks will be going to Ohio. They will be here when you first get here, but they are scheduled to be in their new home before Christmas. Don't worry, they are pretty quiet. Mom makes sure that they behave. These peacocks aren't mean, but I hear that they are pretty difficult to work with. Beautiful, but difficult. Mom decided to send them to live with Jenny, since Jenny seems to appreciate them, and Mom would rather spend time with her fantasy children.

Now, about the English Garden. Mom has a brown thumb, too, which is why she has no problem giving it to Jenny. Maybe Jenny's husband can help it grow by being supportive and admiring it along the way. This particular garden is not likely to turn brown, but I'm sure it grows very slowly. Again, Mom would rather play with her fantasy children than spend time in the garden. But, she is growing one of the 6 TW floral bellpull boxes. Hopefully, the yellow roses will be in full bloom by Christmas. Remember to stay out of her way when you get here. The yellow roses are for Mom's MIL, and she *really* needs to spend some time on them. Mom will have much more time to play with us after January 1.

As a general rule, the Gaston household does not kill plants (because they don't buy any for that very reason) or raise peacocks. The attack kitties are a bit scary at times, but they are just being playful and don't realize how much they might hurt us. They also have a tendency to sit on us right in the middle of one of Mom's stitching sessions. They seem to know exactly what page and which sections she is looking at. Maybe they are psychic! Mom has lots of Teresa's things, and plenty of dragons (who are really nice).

Anyway, I am really looking forward to having some new siblings. It's been almost 3 weeks since Mom brought home someone new. Tell Jenny that I will make sure to remind you to email her when you get here. See you soon!

P.S. Mom thinks it is so funny that we are writing to eachother, she was wondering if it would be okay with you if she put these letters up on her website. That way, everyone could enjoy them! Let her know if that would be a problem, or if it would embarrass you too much. -T
